He is one of the Top 4. His slogan read let s join hands to make keana better. Shortly after the inception of Democratic governance in the 2nd Republic, precisely in 1981 when one of our abled Nigeria president Shehu Shagari was at the verge of correcting and proffering lasting remedy to our sundry nation economic maladies, while in keana that same moment, women were seen in joyous mood, running helter-skelter in large numbers with their attire loosely hang over ,squeezing themselves through the narrow door that lead to Mal. Isa House to welcome the amazing new born baby. That wonderful display which followed the news of the Birth of Baba idi was still fresh like a morning dew in the minds of many Elders. To take u on a more comprehensively elusive biography, Idris Isa Oshafu was born on 3rd, march 1981, to a widely respected Oshafu Royal House and was father by a highly revered cleric, Mal.Isa Oshafu from an orthodox Ogwu Royal House. Unlike most of his age mate who have had their education lately, Baba Idi as he was fondly call, was enrolled in school at the very tender age of 5. He started his primary education at the prestigious central pilot science primary school keana between 1988-1994, Dunama college of Arabic and Islamic studies 1994-1997 and eventually moved to Gss keana where he graduate in the year 2000. In his quest for higher and a more qualitative education, Baba Idi went to Nas/ poly for certificate course in Purchasing and Supply between 2000 to 2001 and proceeded to have his Diploma in Social Development where he successfully round off in 2003. Baba Idi humble background resemble that of Sardauna. Like a Sardauna Baba idi is a son of a knowledgeable Mallam, he is verse in both western and Quranic education and like Great Sardauna, Baba Idi would typified a perfect embodiment of Servant -leader and a solid epitome of justice. The good news is that this promising young man is aspiring to succeed Hon. Orogu in the state assembly come 2015. Shikenan! Baba idi who has never relent on Government for employment but struggled to own his business, indicated purely that if voted, he will device measure to create gainful jobs opportunities through empowerment because his experience at Oceanic Bank was stupendous, his achievements in Stanbic IBTC was superfluous and his unlazy spirit of hard work at Garki Automatic car wash was remarkably yielding and result oriented. Baba idi is a flourishing business tycoon based in lafia having left Abuja in 2012 and settled in Sansani Motors, behind state Pdp secretariat lafia, where he continued with his car selling Business. Baba idi voyage into todays contaminated politics which has been defined by many as dirty game was in a view to render it holier, clean and original. His first forrays into politics was in 1999, a year that saw the end to military interegnum, where he play behind the scene canvassing support for UNCP and later PDP. In 2003 he switched his loyalty to GDM to meet Sen. Haruna Abubakar and Arch. Egyebola, when it was clear that the Umbrella was exceedingly hot and can no longer dry his sweat clean. Idi later joined Cpc now Apc before the 2011 election and became active member where he contributed enormously in strengthening and solidifying the party structures to grow steadily. Today Idi has mustered courage to vye for member NSHA representing the politically matured if not civilized people of Keana to enable him stich the wide gab between the Ruler and the ruled. Today Idi has declared his intention to run for state assembly in order to demonstrate practically that the electorates were the real masters who decide and determine when and how the constituency allowances should be spend. It is similarly beyond dispute that the manner at which his posters and billboards were warmly received and placed in strategic areas, markets, business centres etc, speaks audibly loud of him as an unrivaled, widely admired and acceptable candidate. It is equally beyond contemplation that his aspiration to represent us in the state assembly illustrate a believe shared by many of those contenders: i.e to free our system of octogenarian domination and to enthrone a dynamic leadership. If voted, Baba Idi will embark on a journey of progress with strides that are firm, wide and sure. Adamu quality and Maisaje come next. Only then, can we move to analysing and comparison##
