He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son. (1 John 5:10) Ive talked to so many people who say that they just dont know if they can believe the bible is true. Yet we exercise our faith in far less worthy things every day. We trust the chair to hold us up, brakes to stop the car when applied, a pilot whom we never met, to safely get us from point A to point B, elevators, newspapers and the list goes on. How can we readily put our faith in these but question Almighty God. In all actuality, man is prone to lie but God is not. His word is truth. The weather man will fail you. But you can fully believe and put your trust in God and His word. He isnt a man who can lie. He is not a deceiver. It is an insult not to believe in God and to realize the promises found in His word. The bible says, With God, nothing shall be impossible. His promises are for you and me and they are for TODAY!
