Heading Back from INDY last night...may not have been the brightest think I ever did! Counted 21 cars in ditches and 5 Semi /Jacknifes due to black ICE south of Fort Wayne; then just below the Gun Lake Casino exit had to call 911 after seeing SUV slam into the median. Folks it took me a 1.5 hours longer to get home to MI but I went slow and steady! Speed certainly was the number 1 Factor in all of these issues. I hit the same black ice but was going 35 mph, not having to hit my brakes! The SUV that lost control had to be going faster then the POSTED SPEED; flew past me! Slow and Steady it goes today on Sunday. Check out the short video...this driver was going slow but still too fast. Does not Take MUCH. Imagine the detrimental affects if your going 65mph, and cannot stop in time! Jon Uekert Director of Operations
