Heads up if you plan to visit Dickerson Park Zoo on Saturday, May 10. Because of Rockn Ribs next door at the fairgrounds, you can expect significant traffic congestion. The zoo will also have very limited free parking. You can park at a fairgrounds lot, but there will be a fee charged by Rockn Ribs. We have a satellite parking lot at Christian Schools of Springfield, 2660 N. Grant, and a free shuttle to bring you to the zoo entry and back to the CSOS lot. And, you might reconsider your plans to visit the zoo on Saturday, and come to the zoo when it is a little less hectic. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
