Health Charity –Senior Donor Development Fundraiser – Durham - £21,482 - £26,837 – Reference J49689EDR We are currently working with a much loved charity in Durham which exists to deliver unique specialist care to each individual person as well as their family who cross it doors. This Health Charity aims to provide specialist palliative and end of life care to all those affected by life-limiting illnesses, at a time and a place that is right for them. The Charity is currently looking for a Senior Donor Development Fundraiser to join their team to be able to form, nurture and maintain relationships with the Charity’s current and new supporters in order to maximise opportunities to promote donor development. The overall focus of this role is excellent high level Donor Development and Stewardship. This will involve working with Major Donors, Corporates and also looking at Legacy fundraising. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the following experience; • Proven experience within a fundraising role with a track record of achieving fundraising growth including working with budgets and income targets. • Experience in sales / marketing and communications in the commercial or the voluntary sector with a clear understanding of the principles surrounding them. • Excellent communication skills and experience in managing staff, providing high levels of motivation to achieve challenging targets and achieve set objectives. • Experience in providing effective stewardship of regular givers and high value donors to maximise income and long term support. • Experience in identify and implementing new opportunities for legacy fundraising to existing and new partners. • Strong time management skills and able to prioritise own work load.
