Health Tip - To get mercury out of our bodies. Whole body wellness is a goal for most of us. At times it seems like a lofty one. Research shows that exercise, sleep, plenty of water are all good for our bodies. Something I just learned is that the herb cilantro, also known as coriander, can pull mercury out of our bodies. Mercury from dental fillings or immunizations can interfere with the body and mind. This morning I tried this out on our household. I washed up some fresh cilantro leaves and ate about a teaspoonful. I tried to chew the cilantro 20 times. FYI chewing your food helps with digestion. Next time you eat try to chew your food as long as you can. Next, I gave each of my children a couple leaves of cilantro. My oldest wanted more, my second said no way I dont like that stuff, one of my younger ones chewed the cilantro for a second and spit it out. Im sure there are better ways then that to incorporate cilantro into your familys diet. Maybe some fresh pico de gallo with chips. yummy! Give it a try. Happy Weekend!
