Health care professionals: please please please quit likening needles, biopsies, local anesthetic and basically any procedure that includes painful penetration, to a tattoo needle grouping or procedure. Yes, I know it looks like I can handle anything... And yes getting tattooed has taught me a lot about bravery and mindful pain control, but thats where the similarities end. Im a big sissy and I care to know every detail of anything being done to my body... And being alarmed that I cry when I am hurting doesnt help the situation. Im just a regular person with pretty skin and an interesting past ... Nothing to see here.. haha.
