Health update. Friday I had a cardiologist appointment from my heart cath. Healing was going well and there were no concerns from the procedure. For those who dont regularly follow my posts I had a heart cath on September 5th where they found that although my main artery was completely blocked my body had created collateral arteries that were handling the blood flow and they were clear. Yesterday I had my monthly blood drawn as well as my bimonthly MRI. My blood pressure was 120/59 my heart rate was 60 and my weight was 225. Today I had the follow up appointment with my oncologist. The results of my MRI was better than last time (which itself was better than the previous). My platelets were 150,000 compared to last month when they were 120,000 so the chemo is doing its job. I do have a slighter weaker and less flexible right side of my body. The guy conducting the test was much stronger than anyone who had done the strength before and was able to notice a slight lack of dexterity and strength in my right arm and leg but not enough to be concerned about. The best news is that I can do the maximum chemo again but because I have lost weight over 10% that maximum dosage was reduced by 10 mg. I am very excited about the results of this week and continue to look forward to all life has waiting for me.
