Health update plus: I absolutely had to write a post sharing gods blessings over me... The last two days has been AMAZING!!!! I spent time with my Dad Thomas J. Ryger, walking the seventy blocks along Central Park, and we went to see my transplant surgeon, yesterday... I am OFFICIALLY RE-REGISTERED to the NY State kidney List (having passed my two and a half month hospital and transfusion free time frame) In two weeks, I will be blessed with the opportunity of being placed on something called the compassionate care list; this list is reserved for those who have a hard time finding a match. My amazing Surgeon and the team at Sinai has chose me as one of their two deserving patients that get to be moved to this list. This means if a compatible kidney becomes available within 120 miles of me - I get it. This crazy, awesome, & exciting, yet nerve wracking, news. But I couldnt be more thankful, grateful, and excited - I owe the people at mt Sinai my life for choosing to offer me this opportunity. In addition, I will be back on the NY swap List and I get to choose a second state to register myself in. This will be a state with a great hospital, odds, and near family. But, before choosing Ive got my research cut out for me.... If THAT werent enough, my apt complex held a wine and cheese event where we got to know three of our neighbors very well, leaving at seven thirty to be just in time to spend the evening with some of #mothmen dance. Especially one of my favorite people on this planet Jason Whicker! It was amazing to meet the humble talent that on the fly productions has managed to put together for the live agt show on nbc next Tuesday! Im so proud to say they are as awesome at heart as dance and Im glad for their presence in my life. Ty friends for always, always praying me through the rough times so I can experience days like today! Love you all. Goodnight!
