#HealthstyleChallenge Day 11 Asana: Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon pose) Intention: Leave the past in the past Breathe Begin by starting with your feet hip with apart. Exhale as you Bend at your waist to bring your torso to the ground. You can Bend your knees here to relieve tension on your hamstrings if you cant make it all the way to the ground - please use a block or chair for assistants if you cannot reach the floor or need a little extra help balancing. Inhale as you pl as ce your hands on the ground in front of you - particularly if you are raising the left foot first - make sure your right hand is about a foot in front of your right foot for balance. On the exhale - open your hips to the side - raise your left foot as you open your hips until the side blade of your foot is now towards the sky - once you find your balance, raise your left hand now to the sky - so that your arms form a straight line with your shoulders and your weight is now balanced on your right leg and right arm. If you would like more of a challenge then take your gaze from the ground and open your head to the side - if you have your balance strong then challenge yourself to gaze up at the sky or ceiling. Exhale to come down out of the posture. What you do to one side you do to the other. :) Live with LOVE
