Heard a sermon at revival services entitled…..Check The Record… We all need to check our record to see if we are truly saved and serving God. We check our record by the Word of God; Do we love our neighbor, Can we forgive, our we compassionate to the less fortunate by giving, Does the Holy Spirit live inside of us, Do we really have Faith in God etc. I could go on, but you get what I am saying. This is our eternal record. At any minute we could make transition, so we need to make sure that the life we live and the service we give that it is approved by Jesus and the only way we can know that is if it is align with the Holy Bible not what we think or by looking at someone else life. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to run this race in vain, so we have to stop and check our record from time to time. Sometimes we do so much and none of it is approved by Christ, we often do things to impress man but if God is not Glorified it is all in vain. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
