Heard something very comical about myself the other day. Thought id share, heard that I bought Frek off a college girl. Well just to share some pictures of how the poor guy look as a baby. Ill give a run down of his life. Ive had him since he was a two yr old, he was about to be sent to slaughter when a close friend of ours call my mom to see if she wanted him. Well when we got him he was poor, wild and malnourished. Got him looking good, took him to the vet to get him gelded, he got loose and tried to escape on the highway. After that, my mom started him but he did something I cant really remember and I asked if I could start riding him because he was sitting, she told me as long as I dont get hurt. Well then as a 3 or 4 yr old we turned him out in a pasture that wasnt ours and he decided to stick a teapost through his chest and about cut his air way off. Got him over that. Then started him in playdays, and barrel races won lots of things, I guess it was 07 (I was 14) i was when he was firing and running 1/2d. Then 08 we started halfway through the season at the MRCA and ended up 5th in barrels, and 6th in poles. Took home the average for barrels. 09 he won me a saddle, and lots of cash at MRCA. Then from 10-12 we rodeoed/barrel raced winning lots of money, and now to this day runs 1/2D. I have put blood, sweat, and lots of emotions into this horse and I love him too pieces. People ask me all the time well can you get my horse to their fulliest potential. Yes, because Ive always had to turn my own personal horses into what they are today and I know the satisfaction I feel seeing my horses succeed. Just thought Id share a little life story about Frek and I. :)
