Heard yesterday that three california legislators; The resolution prevents Democratic Sens. Ron Calderon, Leland Yee and Rod Wright from exercising any power of their office until the pending criminal cases against them have been resolved. Even so, they will continue receiving their $95,291 annual salaries. While Im surprised they even made the effort to suspend them, they did so with full salary. If there is some codicil that prevents suspension of pay, then withhold their salaries in an account until such time as they are convicted or exonerated. If theyre convicted the money could go to a charity. if they are exonerated the money would be returned, with interest. Are they rescinding their administrative, vehicle and expense account privileges as well?
