Hearing & seeing more & more on upcoming Nominations & Election time for Siksika...from experiencing this since I was 18yrs old...there have been some good and very bad that have been seen, heard and done...sometimes its like People forget we are from the same reserve (Siksika Nation) and negativity will not move our Nation or People forward to a healthier, self sustainable community as a whole...so to those considering running for Chief or Council, do this with all your heart & most importantly family support, be ready to face some negativity, yet do the best to remain optimistic for the entire Community...remember these positions are not just political...they become our Voices & beam of hope for Siksika PEOPLE who are hoping for a better future for all...Gbless :D
