Heartbroken with the news of the assassinations of three police officers in the last 24 hours and the lack of news coverage given to these fallen officers. Two NYPD officers assassinated by ambush by an ethnic gang member who posted on social media (under the hash tag killthepolice) he was going to NY to put some wings on at least two pigs to honor Michael Brown. Then he drove to NY and assassinated two officers sitting defensively in their squad car. This morning ABC news ran a 10 second spot of the national news about the assassinations (yes I watched it twice because I couldnt believe how short the coverage was) The news did NOT identify the ethnicity or gang affiliation of the offender. Then the same network ran a 3 minute segment on a completely unrelated shooting of a network weatherman who was shot, injured, is already sitting up in his hospital bed tweeting and will survive his attack. Then a few hours later comes news of a former NYPD officer, now working as an officer in Florida who was ambushed and assassinated on a fake call designed to lure him into the ambush. Again committed by a minority criminal. So far no national news coverage on that event. (the story can be verified online at the AP website) YES, NEWS MEDIA-WE BELIEVE YOU ARE FAIR AND BALANCED
