Heather Ames Kennedy and I had a GREAT day of canning thanks to our generous donors. Thanks to SHARE and Wanda Bashor-Mclane we had enough for 28 quarts of mexican and italian tomatoes that we will use in the dead of winter to bring a little healthy and tasty addition to meals. Thanks to financial contributors we were able to buy the jars (with some coupons from Cat Coffman). And thanks to Tom Pierson we have a safe place to store the jars. I think we may have gotten the bug, so if you have jars you would like to donate please let us know!!!! We wont let this fresh, healthy, local bounty go to waste! And if you are a canner and want some produce to put back for our Friends, just give us a yell. We can hook you up!!!
