Heavenly Father, As we gather today, there is so much to pray about…so many are facing natural disasters, there are thousands and thousands living in the Middle East who are living in fear as war and evil rage against them and so many are displaced from their homes…thousands are dealing with fear and loss due to things like the Ebola virus…Lord, God, we can just see this sort of darkness just spreading across the world…the enemy is hard at work…but you are greater than any enemy or foe Lord, we ask for comfort, provision and protection for all who are in harm’s way. Oh, Father, you tell us to not be afraid of what man or this world can do to us…we know that this life is just short and fleeting and just such a small amount of our eternal life…but while we are here…there is so much to face and deal with…Lord, we ask for you to make a way in the wilderness… may all the displaced, all the persecuted, all the people who have lost every material thing in this life find you in the midst of such incredible hardship and loss…Lord, provide for them like you did with the fish and the loaves of bread…may they find safety and refuge and relief from the traumatic situations they are living in….Lord, all we can do is just pray that you will help them as only you can…may they see your hand in the dark…may they know that you are there with them…may they cling to you like the air they breathe and find hope in the darkness. Lord, everyone is dealing with something…some less, some more than others, but none of us escape the trials of this life…and the trials are intensifying and multiplying for everyone. You said it would be this way…you told us what to do when we see these things happening…we should look up to you…we should make ourselves right with you…we should trust you, because our redemption draws near…Lord, we are in a battle every single day and we pray for your courage to well up in us…we pray for your energy…for your peace of mind…for your wisdom and discernment…for your heart and mind to overshadow everything that we see and hear and face…you are greater and mightier than anything we face and you are our hope and the strength of our lives. Father, we pray for our loved ones and ask that you protect them and meet each need. We pray for our leaders and ask that their hearts will be soft towards you…that they will seek you for wisdom and discernment on how to lead and protect us….we pray for our pastors and all who are in ministry…Lord, be a hedge about them as they are on the front lines of spiritual battles and carry burdens that most never even know about. Please be with everyone in the military in every country who is fighting to defend and protect against hostile forces. Lord, please watch over the doctors, nurses, and all those who respond to a crisis or disaster. So many give of themselves to help others and we pray they will know that all they do is so appreciated. Lord, help us live with faith and hope instead of fear and worry. May our trials and all that is going on in the world draw us closer to you in prayer and faith. Lord, we ask for an outpouring of your Holy Spirit and we thank you Lord, for standing with us… for your comfort and for the promises of better things to come. Lord, we lay our burdens at your feet and ask you to take them. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen Blessings be upon you friends!
