Heidi Health Update: Heidi made a comeback from collapses she experienced in the fall. Since,shes been on Vetsulin (canine insulin)shes been stable. Heidi is on a regiment of antibiotics,twice daily. And,her vetsulin is given twice a day,as well. She does tire. And,to accommodate her,we try to make short trips. We, still, dont know what causes her to have Hematuria (blood in urine & urinary incontinence) when she doesnt have the antibiotics. The vets have advised they need to do Laparoscopy in order to take a sample of sludge from Heidis bladder and determine the origin/treatment for what creates her symptoms. Kodas Legacy has been a God send,a miracle for us. Kodas Legacy saves Heidis life by paying for the expense of Heidis health maintenance. The Laparoscopy is quite costly. I cant express my gratitude in words for Kodas Legacy saving Heidis life. Thereby,saving mine. And,to all who donate and contribute items to the auctions. You have saved my Heidi,as well. Heidi is,still,well enough to work. We just keep vigilant observation on her energy levels. Praying for the time we will be able to see her in full health. Please continue to support Kodas Legacy in whatever manner you are able. I cant imagine my life without Heidis assistance (my medical alert service dog). Most of all, Heidi is family. I love her so very much. So,thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving her. And,saving me the heartache of an premature goodbye. I could not have saved Heidi,alone. Your support means everything to Heidi and me.
