Hello 2015!!! 😀😀😀😀 Time to start posting some recipes for your beautiful people again!! Salmon & Avocado Tartare 🐟 On my honeymoon in Tahiti I got really inspired by all the raw fish dishes!! So yummy! So here is a wee adapted recipe for you to enjoy. Ingredients Salmon layer 500g Salmon Fillets 1/4 red onion chopped 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 lemons juice 1 limes juice 2 tbsp olive oil 4 tbsp coconut cream 1/2 chopped red chilli (no seeds) Parsley or chives (chopped) Salt & pepper to taste Avocado layer 3 avocados 2 tbsp mayonnaise 1 drop wasabi sauce Sesame and chia seeds (optional) Salt and pepper to taste You will need a ring mould or get crafty and make one yourself. I got a tuna can and took both ends off it. Method Skin the salmon fillets and cut into lengths then small cubes. Add the soy, lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil, coconut cream, red onion, chopped chilli and herbs and salt and pepper to taste. Mix all together and leave to sit for 5 minutes while you make the avo mixture to let the lemon and lime juice soak into the salmon. For the avo mixture cut the 3 avos into small cubes and add the mayo, wasabi and salt and pepper to taste. Add a dash of olive oil to this mixture too. Set your ring mould on a plate. Add a few scoops of the salmon mixture and pat down. Then add a few scoops of the avo mixture and pat down. Remove the ring mould and you should have a nice little salmon and avo tartare tower. Add a lime wedge and some herbs to garnish. Super easy delicious meal that is surprisingly quite filling! Enjoy! 💗💗💗💗 Daisy xx
