Hello AYSL fans, Another year and another fall season of - TopicsExpress

Hello AYSL fans, Another year and another fall season of soccer/futball are upon us. As your aware, I’ve taken the reins from a very capable Commish, Mike Buckley and hope I can do the great job that he has for the past few seasons. Thankfully he is still around, so I have a great source of information within reach. Dave Lamm is still part of this and does much more than any of us are truly aware of. As Mike as done in the past, please bring your questions and or concerns to me and I will answer or get you the answer as soon as possible. We’ll be using the Facebook site as the main source of information but you can always call me on my mobile. These next 2 Saturdays, Sept 14th and the 21st are set for AYSL soccer clinics and sign ups. We need volunteers to assist with registration as well as running some of the drills we’ll hold for the kids. Please let Dave and or I know who can do what and when. We’ll need as much parental involvement as ever, coaching, assistant coaches, referees and just coming out to watch your child have a great time with friends. Please have your kids bring a ball and remember to take it home when you leave. As you’ve been informed already, AYSL is not a child sitting service, so during your children’s match we need you there, this is policy as neither the league nor the base, can supervise your child before and after the match. This is about the kids, teaching them good sportsmanship, the rules of the game, team concepts, and enjoying a great sport. Please remember this during the course of the season. The more active you are in this league the more your children as well as you, will get something out of it. Regards, Rob Saunders AYSL Commissioner 555 600 7004
