Hello All, Jessica and Paula asked me to send a quick update on the Group and the generous outpouring of support from all of you. Taunton Necessities of Life (TNL) has grown to almost 80 members in roughly 3 weeks! With this overwhelming amount of support we will be able to assist lots of families in need. It is truly eye opening to realize that as many people as there are in our community that need help, there is just as many willing to help. Your contributions have been over the top and we truly appreciate the support from everyone. Moving forward TNL will be focusing primarily on our Missions. We will adopt one family per month and direct all of our efforts to them. We will have a donation pickup once a month and the collection will be promptly delivered to the family shortly thereafter. We will continue to support Karen Specialist (Lots of Love) and Mark Cook (Matthew 25:40 Mission) in their efforts to improve our communities. We understand that recently the number of requests has been constant. We will be arranging a monthly meeting with Mark and Karen to prioritize the families in need, in order to ensure that our resources are be allocated properly and in the order of need. TNL will be primarily focusing on Taunton and immediate surrounding areas, in a neighbors helping neighbors type philosophy. As we continue to grow in size and resources please rest assured that every food item, toy, shirt, or pencil is not only appreciate by the families receiving them but from all of us here at TNL, Lots of Love, & Matthew 25:40 Mission. In tough times people have to come together to make a difference. Each and every one of you has made an impact and we look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.
