Hello All my lovely friends. I hope you all still get my openness about my illness. I cant not tell you all stuff, as it happens, so heres an update. Had a blood test and I was pinning all my hopes on them telling me I needed a transfusion. Because that would explain my new symptoms. But no, they came back ok. Although my CA125 was 3,500. It was 1,500 in August. That means the disease is running rife now. My tummy is distended and the doc & hospice nurses say its fluid building up. And I have fluid on my lungs too. I wish I didnt have the knowledge I have but Ive been through it all with my Mum. She had the same thing. So I know whats happening & what Im in for, so to speak. Im pissed off coz Gary just borrowed me a buggy, for when we got out & about and Ive not been well enough to get on it yet. Weve had it a week already. AND Id just bought myself a pair of maternity jeans & havent had a chance to wear them yet. I was just getting used to a plateau of better health for a while. Anyway, the hospice are doing an ultrasound scan on me Thursday, so see if they can drain some fluid off my abdomen. Im dreading that. I had to hold my Mums hand through that procedure too.
