Hello Chuck! We miss hearing from you for so long. How are you? We are now in Iloilo. We have not traveled much around, busy in our land property. This posting of yours is about the best one got to read - about our country, the Filipinos, the beauty of the islands, culture, etc. from an outsider who sees us inside. Very genuine impressions though many may disagree on some areas. This picture of the nipa hut struck me with affinity to what we are doing here - out of the city of noise, pollution, crowd, fast lanes, fast foods (Brazil bans fast food chains!!!) we dont eat that cuz we grow our own - garden, fouls, maybe soon fish for now we buy fresh.
