Hello City Dwellers! Im still working my way through the stories, but Im noticing a pattern that I need to address. The City is a living organism that considers each of its citizens as a part of it. Like any organism things occur constantly that cause minor damage to it, but if something major occurs The City reacts by eliminating the threat, i.e. The Watchers. So any events of mass destruction or loss of life are immediately and permanently dealt with. Since The City is an organism, there is no Mayor, City Council or Politicians. These terms are used by there are no specific citizens that hold these positions. Its cool to have people controlling certain sections of the City, but anyone that threatens the Citys control meets the Watchers. Okay, that being said, no story will be disqualified if the character or characters overstep their bounds. However if your story is selected there may be some serious re-writing required. Just a heads up. Carry on.
