Hello Everyone! It has been a really full day and kind of challenging to say the least. I was up early so I could get ready to go out to the health department for a vision screening and glasses. And of course, the county never works quickly I was tested basically and the woman who did this screening said that I definitely need glasses-which I already knew. I am having difficulty seeing right now and it is really difficult to deal with. Anyhow, I will see this other eye doctor in about 4 weeks and then I will get new glasses at that time without the wait, thank goodness. But it is still long time to wait when your vision is really off. Anyhow, I had to go down a little ways to an Amscot on 66 street to get a money order-and guess what? I bent down to tie one of my shoe laces, lost my balance and fell backwards on the sidewalk! I hit my head kind of hard and also really hurt both of my hips. The pain I felt was awful, but I got up with all of this pain I had and kept going on to get my 15.00 money order Then, when I turned around to go back to the health department to sign more papers for this program, prevent blindness, I was totally disoriented and couldnt find the health department again! I went up and down trying to find it, and finally asked the mailman where it was, and he told me how to get there. It is almost funny now when I think of it, but not while it was happening! So I finally got done there after all of this, and caught the Park Blvd, bus back to Shoppes at Park Place. I caught the US 19 bus and had intentions to go see mom at home and put more stuff in the house, but it didnt happen since this bus on US 19 was going to come around shortly, so I really didnt have time to walk on home. So I caught this crazy bus again, (its always rowdy and very crowded,) and went on to Voc-Rehab for my appointment. I will tell you all more about what happened on that tomorrow since I am tired now and my eyes arent working so well. So good night everyone!
