Hello Everyone! TGIF. I hope this week has been fruitful and has been blessed for each of you. Before we embark on the crazy weekend, I wanted to give you all an update of our progress so far. I know, I just posted on Wednesday but, a lot can happen in just a few days! Here we go! First piece of exciting news…. I, Bianca Sanchez, am officially done tracking my vocals! (Insert Hallelujah Chorus here) I finished singing my last note on Wednesday night and I have to say, it feels fabulous! So fabulous, that I even cried a bit while I was in the booth. Who would have thought that I would have loved this process so much? As difficult as it is, and as humbling as it is, it really is such a rewarding process. So there you have it! Ive hung up my hat… for this year at least. Josh has officially finished tracking all of his leads, which is a great thing! He still has some harmonies to record, which will be done within the next week. I feel like we have to take a moment and just acknowledge how fantastic, thee one and only, Josh Madruga is. This guy has some how managed to record each instrumental part (minus the piano), record vocal leads, be in the studio working on mixing and editing, has been an intricate part of the merchandise aspect of this project, all while giving Eryk and myself critiques on how to improve our performances and still being super positive and logical. He’s like a superhero in a Portuguese man’s body! This project would not have been possible without him so if you see him… look him in the eyes and tell him how great he is. Eryk is really the zeal of our team. This guy’s favorite line is “one and done,” meaning… “I’ll only need one take and I’ll be done.” It never works that way. Trust me. And he knows this! Yet he still makes us laugh every time he steps up to that microphone. He’s really been delivering some fabulous performances and has all of his leads tracked. We need to take a moment and acknowledge EZ as well. I think of all of us, EZ has really had it the hardest. Weve changed his songs I don’t know how many times, and have thrown curve balls at him time and time again. One minute hes done then all of a sudden we decide that he should sing another harmony on a different song! With all of this going on, this guy still manages to be the leg to our tripod that brings joy into this journey. So there you have it folks. We’re working hard and praying that you’ll all be blessed by the music that is being produced. Weve reached our GoFundMe financial goal but every little bit counts. If you would still like to donate to our project, please do! You’re contributions are what allow us to really dig deep and have the opportunity to produce this amazing album. Thank you so much for you everlasting support and encouragement. God Bless!
