Hello FA! (And I think this has gone unsaid, but for those of you who came out to see President Aquino, thanks! It was awesome to meet so many of you :) ) Every year, FIND, Inc., a national Filipino student organization unites all of the Districts together in one big conference where we all come together and talk about Filipino and Filipino-American issues, meet great friends, and have a great time! The theme for this years Dialogue is Ikaw Na: Your Move. Those present will speak about how they can make their move in their personal lives, communities, and career paths. It should be both motivational as well as insightful We understand that it is difficult to get to this; as it is a National event, it is being hosted in District 3 (the area where yours truly is from). Thus, D1 is attempting to arrange for travel! We plan on going as a big group and it going to be so much fun! As a personal anecdote, Ill say this. I have never gone to a national event yet; this will be my first. Quite honestly, a few months ago, I had about zero interest in doing anything outside of District One. But the consistent and positive reactions of people who have gone and have come back with continues to impress me every single time they speak about going to a National event.
