Hello FB BOG family!!! This is Alicia McEwen posting. As the time for the Big Competition gets closer, the Band of Gold is looking for donations for Gif Basket items for our Basket Raffle. Our Basket Raffle last year was a HUGE hit and we would like to repeat that. We have several baske themes to choose from. Any items you can donate for these baskets would be much appreciated. Remember, the items dont have to cost a lot, Dollar Tree and the clearance rack are great places to look for some of these items. The folllowing basket themes are the ones we are trying to fill. Each theme is followed by some ideas for items. These are just suggestions. Let your imagination run wild!! Movie Night – DVD, microwave popcorn, candy, soda Pasta Night – Pasta, Sauces, Colander, Breadsticks Fiesta – Tortillas, Chips, Salsas, Cheese Dips (nothing perishable), guacamole mix BBQ – BBQ utensils, matches, apron, small table top grill, charcoal Game Night – small games, cards, dice Kids arts and Crafts – paper, markers, crayons, scissors, stickers, play dough, clay, watercolors Smores – Roasting sticks, marshmallows, chocolate, blanket Spa Day – lotions, shower gel, shower poufs, bath salts, oils, candles It’s a Boy! - Gifts for a baby boy It’s a Girl! - Gifts for a baby girl Let’s cook – cooking gadgets, small cook books, recipe cards Let’s bake – baking supplies, frosting, mixes, measuring cups, cupcake liners, sprinkles Fall Fun – Anything to do with Fall Halloween – Anything to do with Halloween Christmas – Anything to do with Christmas Picnic – Blanket, cheese, crackers, jellies, olives, non- perishable sausages A few things to remember 1. You can turn these items in to Mr. Reed at school (send them with your student) 2. I will be happy to come pick any items up for you 3. You can bring your donation to next Wednesdays Booster Meeting 4. If you want to donate, but dont have time to shop, you can make a cash donation and we will do the shopping for you! 5. All food items should be non-perishable. We will be collecting donations for the raffle basket through next Friday the 19th. Please comment below with any questions.
