Hello Fellow Cordelians!! Happy Holidays to you all. I just wanted to ask any of you out there if you have ever run into a homeless man near the Cordelia Library by the name of Rick? I was having a rather tough day yesterday and was sitting in front of the library crying when suddenly a man named Rick sat beside me and asked me if I was ok. I told him I was fine and he looked at me and said, No youre not. He sat with me and chatted. He put his arm around me and kissed me on the forehead. He offered me a bottle of water out of the two he had. I said no thank you I already had one. He listened to me and shared a bit of himself and he told me he was homeless. The whole time I sat there he kept my head on his shoulder and talked and began to cheer me up. He said he did odd jobs to make a living. He saw that my bus was there and asked me I I needed to catch that bus and I said yes, but at the same time I felt so comforted by this stranger that I didnt want to leave. As I got up to leave, he kissed me on my forehead and said God Bless you and have a Merry Christmas!! I wondered if he was an Angel sent by God to save me from all my sadness or was he for real? Does anyone out there know of this Angel named Rick?
