Hello Fisherman, Striped Bass Fishing continues to hold steady, although it was a bit cold and windy on the ocean today, mackerel are being caught at Speckled Apron and Breaking Rock. A lot of mackerel have been requesting some of our delicious handmade chum from Bridge Road Bait and Tackle. Don’t forget using chum is key to getting them to your boat and most important keeping them there. There are a lot of 25” size stripers around but they are still chasing live mac’s and trying to swallow them and a few larger striper in between. But don’t worry every day they are getting Bigger an Bigger. On the Beach front, seaworms and clams seem to be working the best and Bucktail jigs and kast masters and some top water poppers are also affective. Same goes for Joppa Flats and Salisbury side, drifting worms and clams seem to catch fish with almost every drift. A friend of mine lives up by Rocks Village Bridge and he is having fun catching them right off his dock. Sooooo ..if you haven’t been fishing yet, what are you waiting for!!!! In my 22 yrs in the Bait and Tackle Business, the end of May and the month of June is the best Striper fishing. So please stop in our shop, we have what ever you need and get out there!!!!! Thank you for visiting bridgeroadbait we really appreciate your business! Rene
