Hello Friday here is my end of week personal wrap-up to take it as you please. It isnt even the end of January and I already see 2014 Christmas as a finishing line to throw myself over. I have felt the pressure of Facebook (as I am sure some of you have) this week with everyones enthusiastic generosity of goodwill and making me retreat to a corner of guilt . Lots of trends start on facebook and I see the PAY-IT-FORWARD one is gaining great momentum. I think it is wonderful but definitley I wont be answering any so I hope they dont expect a surprise from me as I wont expect one from them. Why? 1. This year I commit to stop saying yes, lets catch up as I have cancelled more of those than I can remember. 2. My husband has now accepted that cooking for him is a once a year fantasy so if I cook for a friend, well that is a holy experience and there are already too many public holidays I cant attend. 3. A letter or postcard will never arrive as I can never get to the post office, plus it took 4 months to clear my PO BOX - so please send me one at your will but dont expect a quick thank you ( snail mail has a whole new meaning!). 4. A surprise? The fact I may turn up on your doorstep and drop in for a cuppa will be a bigger surprise for me than you I imagine as I am in so many taxis, planes and states that if I turn up on your doorstep, Im probably lost. So what comes out of this? Im a missing wife, a crap friend and confused as all get out. What I will do is be there for my friends if they pick up the phone, laugh with them or at them if so needed and see you when I see you, but not if I see you first. Kind Regards Shaynna Blaze!
