Hello Friends JOES SAD NEWS Our Journey through Call The Midwife Series 1 Episode 3 continues with Jenny going back to visit Joe. Jenny returns to Joes to treat his ulcers and tells him that they are healing really well. However, Jenny notices that Joe is very quiet and does not seem himself. Joe then passes Jenny a letter informing him that the house he is living in is being demolished alomg with the other houses in the tenement. Joe tells Jenny he feels sad because his house reminds him of his family. Joe had lived in the same house for fifty years. His sons had been raised there. Jenny becomes very upset and emotional as Joe tells her he is being moved to St Marks in Mile End which used to be a workhouse. Jenny feels Joe deserves somewhere better to live. Jennys emotion begins to show and she starts to cry for Joe, the very thought of Joe being made to leave the home that has so many happy memories of his family upsets Jenny so much and hits her hard. Joe tells her it is only a flat and not to upset herself over him. Photo 1: Jenny tells Joe his ulcers are healing nicely. Photo 2: Jenny notices Joe is very quiet and asks him what is wrong. Photo 3: Joe lets Jenny read a letter he received informing him the tenement building is being demolished. Photo 4: Jenny becomes emotional at the thought of Joe being forced out of his home. Photo 5: Joe comforts Jenny and tells her not to upset herself over him.
