I am struggling with the choice of a piece of womens clothing for larping and was hoping to get some advice and maybe even some past experiences from knowledgeable ladies. I have been researching around for a black underbust corset that will be flattering but also not crazy restricting (i would like to be able to sit down), durable for combat and summer sweat, and also usable for other cosplay endeavors (such as Marvels black cat for Mardi Gras). I am debating between Timeless Trends Black Cotton Corset, timeless-trends/black-cashmere-corset And Orchid Corsets Black Cotton CS-411, orchardcorset/…/steel-boned-underbust-corse…/ The first is more flattering whereas the second gives some more mobility. Both companies are reputable and have good customer service, plus they have a great price for entry level designs that are good quality. Ive ruled out Corset Story and anything on ebay. My measurements are: underbust 31-32, nat. waist 29, upper hip 35, chest to thigh is 9-10 (my torso is kind of short). As of now Im currently wearing a very cheap ebay corset that is falling apart: amazon/Womens-Leather-Shoulde…/…/ref=sr_1_27… If anyone has any stories of their experiences with either of these styles or brands I would appreciate anything you could share!
