Hello Lovely People, We can now announce that Filth are playing the second last slot of the final night of the OBSCENE EXTREME Australia Festival! Just before the headliners Jig-Ai (from the Czech republic)! We are extremely chuffed about this - massive thanks to King of the Underground Curby for this enviable slot on the best music festival in Australia! Here is the line-up for the Sunday night: SUNDAY > 9th MARCH, 2014 - Bendigo Hotel bendigohotel.au 16.00 - 16.20 stage 20 min VILE SPECIMEN 16.35 - 16.55 stage 20 min ATOMIC DEATH SQUAD 17.10 - 17.35 stage 25 min BLIGHT WORMS 17.50 - 18.15 stage 25 min TERROR STRIKE 18.30 - 19.00 stage 30 min ASBESTOSIS 19.20 - 19.50 stage 30 min BURST (New Caledonia) 20.10 - 20.40 stage 30 min PISSBOLT 21.00 - 21.40 stage 40 min FILTH 22.10 - 23.00 stage 50 min JIG-AI (Czech republic) - special set As you can see - Filth are playing a 40 minute set. We have been rehearsing like a fury for this show and the set sounds fat and all that! We have added heaps of extra tracks to the set, and will be playing some old songs from the mid-90s that have never been played live before. It was fun having to re-learn our own songs!!! We are also playing two covers at the show, one of which was actually written by someone in the band. Can you work out this riddle? If so, there might be a pie in it for you! We hope to see you all there on the 9th of March. It is a public holiday the following day so you have no excuse not to come down and get unspeakably nasty with Filth!!!
