Hello Members, As most of you are well aware, there have been meetings and polls posted to discuss GG’s future. The numbers have been looked at and management has decided to make the following changes to ensure the viability of the club going forward. With effect from July 1, 2013: Hibernating members will no longer be allowed access to Wifi or power outlets, bringing the hibernation option closer to its original intent. Electricity and internet are not free and it is unfair to expect the full members to subsidize the facilities for those who are paying reduced dues. Hibernating members interested in using the WiFi or power outlets will need to purchase the appropriate pass from the front desk. After careful discussion, management has decided to eliminate the student membership option in the interests of equality amongst members. Students will be required to pay full member dues starting July 1st. Full membership dues will remain at 50$ per month, however free drink privilege will be temporarily suspended. GG will continue to sell drinks until current stocks are depleted. The surplus will be put in a renovation fund earmarked for the installation of a fountain drink dispenser in the club. Free drinks for members will return as soon as the new equipment is installed and likely expanded due to heavily reduced cost of fountain drinks. Thank you for your continued support.
