Hello Members and Members to Be, Time to dust off our running shoes and once again begin to train, see old friends, forge new friendships and enjoy the irrational beauty of running. It’s not logical, but that’s the joy of it, doing something that makes us happy. With that said, this New Year is a promising one and I have the distinct honor of both welcoming you back and introducing you to an enhanced WRG. Now known as The Warriors, you will notice an improved level of leadership, operations, community presence and overall quality. An initiative was launched in Q4 of 2014 to identify areas of improvement within the infrastructure of the WRG in the effort to elevate the quality of service and to progress the organization’s vision. As a result, this year we are offering added fitness services including Yoga, Strength Training and collaborations with vendors in the health industry. Warrior Yoga, Warrior Strong, and Warriors Run are three areas of fitness that have been designed to function in sync or as independent interests. Complete fitness and helping our members achieve their personal health goals guides the vision and essence of The Warriors. To that end, a great deal of research, strategic decision and funding has also been invested in the delivery of higher quality of fitness programming focused on athlete performance. Mind and Body, a cloud-based business management software has been implemented to make it as easy as possible for members to enroll, schedule classes and make payments. As always, we remain a culture of family and community. The essence of The Warriors has not been stripped away, but instead been built upon as our foundation. I am excited for this opportunity to be part of your family, one which I respect immensely. My new role is one that I take seriously and I look forward to working with you towards improved personal health and fitness.
