Hello Parents! My name is Joy and I own and operate Little Hoppers Dayhome. Little Hoppers Dayhome currently has two spaces available for childcare. I have 16 years of experience in the childcare field and have an educational background in Social Work and Special Needs Education. I am conveniently located in Millwoods just off of 50th Street and The Whitemud in Kiniski Gardens. I live in a spacious home with a fenced in backyard. We have a variety of backyard activities, but also live near a wonderful new playground and two schools, as well as a beautiful ravine that is perfect for nature walks. Outside time everyday is a must, weather permitting, to provide exercise to little legs. Music plays a huge role in our day. I play music to add a different and unique element to our art projects, other structured projects, and free play. We go on field trips to nearby businesses, other dayhomes and the library. I provide all healthy meals in the day accompanied by milk, and water is available all day. We follow the Canada Food Guide, to teach good habits in health from the very beginning. I am a pet friendly home with an older rabbit and bird. Both are caged during dayhome hours. I have all my necessary checks done and provide tax receipts. Unfortunately because I am a private dayhome, subsidy is not available.
