Hello! Ronin had a well visit yesterday and he has made some slow progress in the weight area. He now weighs 11.3lbs and is 24 inches long. He is still in his 0-3 month size clothing but from a developmental perspective he is 100% on target with other 9 month old children. He crawls, pulls himself up on furniture and his crib, walks with assistance, babbles and is feisty as ever. That is a blessing! They ran some labs to check his levels and the blood work came back with wonderful results: His ANC count (neutrophils to fight infection) is 2600: the highest it has ever been. His liver enzymes while still elevated have reduced significantly: ALT was 856 and has dropped to 481, AST was 507 and has dropped to 353. His coagulation studies were just below normal range but no Vitamin K injections are needed at this time. He received his flu vaccine booster and took the shot like a true SDS Warrior! Overall, we are happy to report he is healthy and doing well. He has an appointment with a local hematology oncologist next week and he will meet with his Duke team again in October.
