Hello Selby neighbors, This is for parents of kids that go to Central Elemental School. In a news letter sent home this week, children will not be given a fork unless they purchase a school lunch. And yesterday I forgot the fork!!!! So both my girls didnt each their noodles I packed in there thermos because they went allowed a fork. Thankfully I pack tons of food so they didnt go hungry but that might not be the case for others. I will be dropping off on Monday morning a basket with almost 300 forks for our kids. Ive sent the principle an email regarding this matter. Ive asked for someone at school to let me know when they are used so I can gladly refill them. Ive also sent the food and nutrition director at the board an email to see if this is a county wide switch or just Central. I personally think its ridiculous.
