We have a job opening for the position of QA/QC Engineer for Petro Gas, Turkmenistan Job Location: Mary/ Yelotine / Balkanabad / Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan Project: Pipeline/Refinery Salary: 5000/6000 USD per Month Rotation: 365 Days On followed by 30 days Off, Working 6 Days/week, 9 Hours/day including 1 Hour for Lunch break Visa Status: Single Benefits: Medical, Insurance, Accommodation, Transportation QA/QC engineer for a new project due to start in August/ September. The successful candidate will currently hold a senior position with 10 years experience. Requirements: - Ability to train new staff on QA/QC matters - Involvement in internal QA auditing - Implement project inspection test plan - Ensure project compliance - Manage QC inspector - Degree in relevant field. Contributes to maintaining an incident free operation which is in support of and in compliance with company Protecting People and the Environment policy Develop detailed workscope, inspection and repair plans, forcast and schedule all inspection activities. Develop and schedule proposed resourse requirements and inspection staffing plans. Prepare contracts and and budget control for specialist contract support services. Manage and coordinate contract execution. Supervise and manage all inspection activities during preparatory work and during T/A execution. Provides support expertise and assistance on fixed equipment reliability, inspection and repair recommendations and methods. Focused effort of developing Turnaround strategies detailed workscope and inspection and repair plans for fixed equipment assets within company, ensuring conformance with RoK regulatory codes and integration into existing reliability programs, associated work processes, and other supporting tools and references. Liaises with Reliability Group and company Base Business, in developing strategies and inspection methods. Develops proposed equipment maintenance and inspection plans including integrity guidelines, schedule, resource forecasts, and cost forecasts. Ensures alignment with parallel processes and related Reliability programs and T/A IMPACT process so that T/A philosophies and work scope form one cohesive and consistent approach to ensuring integrity of equipment and meet Operational and Turnaround schedules and budget, control. Develop inspection services contracting strategy and contracts for technical, inspection and NDE support services. Provides support and expertise to T/A planning group, T/A maintenance coordinators and designs Engineering group During T/A execution and preparatory work supervise all inspection activities and manage and coordinate all contract inspection and NDE services. Provides consultation /assistance / mentoring regarding reliability, inspection and repair and issues or other areas of expertise. Participates and provides direct input to support development of Maintenance procedures. Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in an Inspection or maintenance reliability role. • Must have internationally recognized qualifications through API (American Petroleum Institute), CSWIP/AWS (Certification Scheme for Weld Inspection Personnel / American Welding Society), NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers), etc. • Must have expert knowledge of Turnaround strategies and planning processes. • Must have an expert knowledge of maintenance procedures and current fixed equipment inspection techniques. • Must have at least 10 years direct experience of fixed equipment fabrication, modification, repair and inspection in the oil and gas industry. • Must have at least 10 years of direct specialist knowledge in equipment reliability processes in the oil/gas or petrochemical industries. • Must have expert knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, material selection and repair methods. • Must have expert knowledge of pressure vessel, boiler, piping, pipeline and tank codes. • Must have strong organizational and coordination skills.
