Hello Walla Wallans and former Walla Wallans who still have fond memories of our community. We want to give you a quick update on the Wa-Hi track project. To date we have contributions and pledges that have amounted to $720,000. We are getting close to our goal of $850,000 so we can begin phase 1. Whats important is, that we really need to reach that goal by the end of May so we can obtain the necessary permits to break ground by the end of summer. Wouldnt it be awesome to see our kids and community to have a new facility to use by next spring!!!!!? Heres our challenge to all of you - Please pass this onto all of your friends, classmates, class web page and FB pages and any person who may be a potential donor. Phase 1 would allow us to build a new track, install electrical infrastructure for future lighting, irrigation, track equipment (hurdles, pits, etc...) a new field house for equipment, and seeding for grass.
