Please let me know your interest at the earliest convenience and if interested send your updated resume Work Location Chicago, IL 60611 Client GCM Grosvenor (Grosvenor Capital Management) 6-8Months JOB Responsibilities: · Work with the business to understand and define the business processes that will meet their goals and objectives while maximizing the value proposition of the technology solution. · Analyze maintenance change requests, including working with management to prioritize and schedule the implementation of the requests. · Assist developers to craft creative and technically sound solutions to meet business needs by actively participating as a cross-functional team member on an Agile Scrum team. · Provide strategically oriented design input and direction where applicable and ensuring that the resulting system/process designs are accurate, complete, and meet user requirements. · Review requirements deliverables of fellow Business Analysts to validate the analysis approach and ensure accuracy and consistency. · Develop and execution on organizational change programs, as required. · Develop training materials for new deliverables and conducting end-user training, as required. · Support the full software development life-cycle by partnering with the testing team, developers, and other IT personnel to develop quality and effective solutions. General Education, Skills or Experience and Physical Requirements: · The individual’s experience should be specific to the investment industry and clearly be focused on developing systems solutions and enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess: · BA/BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or a related field is required · An MBA and/or a CFA are a decided plus. · Overall familiarity with the asset management industry and a working knowledge of a broad range of hedge fund strategies is a strong plus. · 3-5 years of experience with software application within the financial services industry, preferably within an institutional asset management system or asset manager is a decided plus. · Extensive experience in working with users to create business requirements. · Experience working as a business analysis in the Agile Scrum development methodology. Techniques to elicit the requirements will include workshops, backlog grooming, user story writing, use cases and other methods appropriate to support the development efforts. · Experience in multiple methods of requirements elicitation and collection. · Exceptionally strong analytical and communication skills to facilitate the elicitation of user requirements, challenge preconceived concepts and propose alternative solutions, while maintaining strong relationships. · Strong skills in user experience design work, proven by creation and use of early UI prototyping, low fidelity designs, and user interaction flows, a plus. · Proven ability to work with and design functionality that supports complex calculations. Statistical analysis experience, a plus. · Proven ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment · Understanding of process-flow in a business environment. · Experience in business process modeling and analysis. · Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft ASP & .Net Technologies, and Microsoft Visio.
