Hello Worcester Writers! A few dates to put on your radar for the next few weeks. THIS SUNDAY - stART on the Street Fall Edition Cheryl Oliver Cory, Diane Vanaskie Mulligan, Sparkie Allison, and myself will be at the WWC table. Please stop by and visit for a while. We would love to see you. Next Wednesday (9/24) - well be back at Childrens Friend. As Cheryl posted earlier, we would like to use this opportunity to talk about the 5K and coordinate our team efforts. If you intend to participate, we strongly encourage you to come. Saturday, September 27th - Kick It Up for the Kids 5K Walk & Run - Join the WWC Team!... more will be posted after our Wednesday meeting, but if you havent already, please check out the event attached to this group. Wednesday, October 1st - our last scheduled meeting at Childrens Friend. We were thinking this would be a great opportunity to talk about Nanowrimo. If you are thinking about doing it this year or have completed it in the past, the discussion would be focused on things that worked or didnt work as well as getting some ideas from all of you of how the group can help you write a novel in thirty days in November. Tell us! And lastly, we are thinking of making our meetings more social in the months following. We thought of picking a restaurant in Worcester (or maybe we explore other communities of our beloved Central Mass) each month where we can get together and discuss our projects, our frustrations, and just enjoy the company of our fellow writers that we have come to appreciate so much in the last three years. If you are able to join or participate in all or even just one of these, we very much hope to see you! And if you have any other ideas for what the group can do to help with writing, please, please comment here with your suggestions.
