Hello Zane 9 years ago my son started dating a young lady after he told me he was gay. Of course I was a happy mom! My son had been diagnosed with Aids for 2 yrs prior to the young lady & took his meds on an regular basis. He also told me that he explained to her about his condition & all the meds she would see him take, also they use condoms. About 8 months into the relationship I found out the young lady was pregnant by my son. A beautiful baby boy..my first grandson, the first three- four years, the baby spent a lot of time with us. We spent a lot of money on him. My son lost his job & decided to be with his male friend & moved out of town to futher his education & hopefully find another job. my husband & I helped the young lady out in most cases, but not as much money as time. The young lady mom told me she heard about my son condition & if her daughter die from aids some people in my family will die because my son never told the youg lady he had aids. My son says the young lady knew his condition & then put hole in condom because she wanted his baby. The baby do not have hiv/aids. Im not sure of the young lady. Its been about 6 years and we cannot find the baby (big boy) or young lady. My son is up set and so am I because we feel that because we did not buy their love we have been exempt from the child life. Hes Ten years old now. My grandmother still lives in the city & the young lady have been their & no how to get their. I have moved and if she look us up by name she can find us. We have searched and searched & have not gotten anywhere. I have another grandson by my other son, but I want to see my ten yr. Old grandson & so does his dad. Family in distress in Illinois. Shes from Gary Indiana, can you help. Cash flow is low & fathers have rights. Any info would help... MY RESPONSE: I am very sorry for all of this. My only suggestion is that you try to search her out on social networks. She likely has a page somewhere and if not her, someone that she knows or is related to. I hope that you find him. It sounds like you have a lot of love to shower him with and the first priority for all involved should be the child. Who knew what and who did not know is irrelevant at this point. The child is a blessing that all should be able to embrace. Good luck.
