Hello all, Hope all is well. Today has been a rather relaxing day. We were able to sleep in till 9am this morning. That was far better than our usual 6:30am wake up call. We did not have the time to rest since we got here; therefore last night came in handy! We attended the Action Faith Church service earlier today; it was very interesting to experience a new ‘culture’ of church. Liberian worship is very lively with A LOT of enthusiastic singing and dancing. Chris Greco, accompanied by the choir, ended worship with a well-performed modern American song. Mr. Greco also preached today on idolatry and Christian battle. By the positive reactions from the congregation, I assume that the sermon was understood and accepted. After a quick snack for lunch, we went to the ELWA beach for a relaxing afternoon. The weather was perfect and the beach was surprisingly clean! We are now planning our upcoming week; we will be finishing up our writing class and kicking off the youth retreat. The week ahead looks very hectic and jam-packed…fun! I am very excited to see what God has in store for us this week. I guess that is all for now. I will provide more updates as time permits.
