Hello all! I have been a Type 1 diabetic for 21 years and have been on an insulin pump for almost 10 years. I was never fully controlled until I was put on this insulin pump that I am petitioning the United States FDA to approve. It has made such a big impact on my diabetes that my husband and I will soon be able to try and have a baby :) I put a small summery on my petition but you can look the pump up on line to get the full info. I need some more support and signature to be able to send this to the FDA. ( I am currently living in Germany. My husband and I are living here for his job. This is why I am on this pump right now but they may try and take it away since the FDA has not approved it and because of that my insurance is refusing to cover it!) Everyone should have the option to use this pump if they choose to, and their Doctor finds it medically necessary to improve this disease that we will have until a cure it found!
