Hello all, Just a reminder that the election slips are being delivered this week, if you believe I would be a worthy representative for you please give me your number one vote. There will be great representation on this council with the current eight already elected, but I want to bring a younger view to the table. I believe we can do more to attract visitors into our town, the tourism numbers are up and the main source of delivering them to our state is just up the road, lets get them to turn left at the roundabout, instead of going straight on. For our community I think we need to deliver more for the people who live here, they should not have to go elsewhere on weekends or weekdays. We need to engage our youth and give them opportunities to have a voice on what they want, not make decisions on their behalf. I also want to bring the harder issues that face our community to the forefront, depression, mental health, and suicide these are real issues that face us all, they can start from the smallest incident and manifest to tragic endings, we need to do more to help and hopefully prevent this from happening, I plan on working closely with the amazing services that are already established to help all in need. Being a councillor is a privilege, its a vote of confidence that I will represent the community and always have its best interests at heart, and that is what I intend to do. Regards Clinton G Stott
