Hello all, well, I am heading up in September to the Boston area from Florida for one of my graveyard tours,searching out information on the Simonson family. I am trying to get organized, getting my ducks in a row, and trying to make the best use of the 4 days I will be there. My mother had 10 brothers and sisters,and my grandmother had 9 brothers and sisters. All grew up in the area. I know the area as I grew up in Saugus, which is 10 miles from Boston. The information I am seeking: taking photos of gravestones, photos of the many houses that my mother and family grew up in, all around and about Revere. I want to get birth and death certificates but want to know the best way to do it. I can order online from Mass but each certificate is $32. Wondering if there is a less expensive way. I need quite a few. I have been the National Archive in Waltham,Ma but seems I get can that type of info online at Ancestry. Any other places I could visit? Maybe Historical Associations? Libraries? Any suggestions, greatly appreciated. Thanks
