Hello and welcome! This group was created as a central resource for supporters of The Morgan Hill Dog Owner’s Group, a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to work with the City of Morgan Hill to construct, maintain and improve the off-leash dog park at Community Park. We also sponsor dog related activities, functions and educational programs to improve the lives of dogs and their owners. This document was created to help facilitate effective management of the posts shared here and to further our mission. The very best way to make this group successful is to invite your Morgan Hill friends to join and participate! GENERAL POSTING GUIDELINES OK TO SHARE - Posts about local free or non-profit events and initiatives pertaining to dogs - Informational posts on how to find lost dogs or return lost dogs to their owners NOT OK TO SHARE Posts that fall under this category will be removed at admins sole discretion. Repeated offenders will be blocked from the group, possibly without warning. - Posts unrelated to dogs (cats ok if lost/found) - Posts aimed at raising funds for a single dog unrelated to a local rescue or shelter - Posts/comments that attack an admin, group member or local organization or are deemed verbally abusive FOR LOST/FOUND ANIMALS 1. Set posts to Public so everyone can see it when it is shared. 2. Post the best photo you have and feature any unique markings or colors. 3. Share where and when the dog was last seen or was found. 4. Provide contact details - the name of the person to be contacted and the best way to reach them. 5. Come back and let us know when the dog is found or returned to owners so we can celebrate!
