Hello everybody, here’s a set of screenshots for an indie first - TopicsExpress

Hello everybody, here’s a set of screenshots for an indie first person exploration game called Ultraworld. We’ve been given the opportunity to write a review for the “game” and you can expect it at a later date after we’ve played it enough. This game is actually an experimental game that’s more art than game so it might not appeal to those looking for a more action packed experience. You can find a bit of information about the game below: ULTRAWORLD is the product of one artist, James Beech. A former AAA game industry veteran, (six years between Sony and Crytek), James left his job so that he could pursue his artistic ambitions. The first result of this is ULTRAWORLD: a work intended to help define video games as an artistic medium. Yes, that sounds pretentious, but hey, don’t walk away just yet. ULTRAWORLD’s story was written in a way that could only exist in this format, and none other. This could never be a book, a movie, or a play; it could only be a video game. ULTRAWORLD also serves as the ultimate virtual vacation spot; a place where one can go and relax. So accordingly, there are two ways to play: Story Mode, which has you interacting with the aforementioned lonely video game character; this is the meat of the game. Vacation Mode, which lets you roam free, camera in hand. All areas are open to explore, so enjoy the vacation! I enjoy games that are wholly unique and this game definitely looks to be unique, I also like the lo-fi neon graphics and I’m looking forward to seeing them myself when I start playing it. The game is currently available on Steam for $14.99 and you can find it here: store.steampowered/app/331580/ The soundtrack for the game is also for sale for $4.99 here: store.steampowered/app/333680/ Happy gaming folks! -Shaun Meyers (Kyo Akiara)
